The books I ordered from Amazon to sell on my website were supposed to arrive on November 30th through USPS. I kept up with the tracking, and on November 30th, when they were supposed to be at my doorstep, the tracking said they were still in a holding facility 2 hours away from the town where we live, and would arrive at my house by December 3rd at the latest. On December 4th, Amazon sent me a message indicating that they had lost my package and offered me a refund, which we of course turned around and rebought the books to sell on my website since the money had already been allocated for that.
On December 8th (today) I received an email from USPS at 7:00 AM stating that my package had arrived and been left in our doorway. To my surprise, there they were: my “lost” books. And now, of course, we have another shipment on its way, set to arrive in January.
This is not the first time something like this has happened to me in the recent past. A couple of months ago, an app I was using made a mistake and deleted my account, and when I emailed them, asking to correct it, they apologized to me with a $25 digital Amazon gift card. As you know, we are currently struggling financially, and that gift card, and $3.00 of my own money, paid for one Christmas gift each for my three kids, so they have something to open on Christmas.
It just amazes me that somehow we always seem to manage to have enough, despite logic dictating that it should not be so.
Anyway, officially, books are in the store. You can access purchasing options through the store link. And wherever you are in life, I hope that you will always find that you have enough.
